Request a ride. Accept it in the driver app.
Buruh connects a rider who sets a pickup and destination with a driver who goes online and accepts the request. Payment, tracking, and completion stay in the Buruh Rider and Buruh Driver apps.
This website explains the trip. It does not request a ride or put a driver online.
How Buruh works
Four steps. The trip stays on the phone.
The rider app requests the trip. The driver app accepts and completes it. This page only describes that path.

Open Buruh
Riders open Buruh Rider. Drivers open Buruh Driver. Each app has its own sign-in.

Choose the trip
A rider sets pickup and destination and sees a fare. A driver swipes online to receive nearby requests.

Connect
The driver reviews pickup, destination, and estimated fare, then accepts. The rider confirms payment.

Complete the ride
The driver navigates and completes the trip. The rider follows it on the map and can rate the driver.
Riders
Request the trip in Buruh Rider.
The home screen asks “Where to?”. From there the rider sets the route, confirms payment after a driver accepts, and follows the trip.

Pickup and destination
Search, use the current location, or place the points on the map. The app shows distance, duration, and a fare before you confirm.

Buruh Rider looks for a driver. When one accepts, the next step is Confirm & Pay.

Pay in the rider app
Wallet Payment, Pay with Stripe, or Cash Payment. Wallet and card are confirmed before the driver starts. Cash is paid to the driver.

Follow, then rate
The tracking screen shows the driver name, vehicle, plate, rating, and trip status. Past rides, a receipt, and a rating stay in the app.
Drivers
Drive from Buruh Driver. Not from this site.
A driver account is reviewed before it can go online. Going online, accepting a request, and withdrawing earnings happen only in the driver app.
Driver service details-
Profile, license, and vehicle
Registration asks for a profile photo, a driver’s license, and vehicle details, then Submit for approval. The account stays under review until it is approved.

Go online
Approved drivers swipe to go online. Location has to be on. While online, the app shares live location with riders.

Accept and complete
A request shows the rider, pickup, destination, and estimated fare. Accept or decline. Start trip waits until the rider confirms payment.

Earnings in the app
Digital ride payments show a platform fee and what you earn. Withdrawals are requested in Earnings. The driver app says payouts are processed weekly.

These are the controls built into the rider and driver apps. This website does not add a separate safety program.
Phone verification
Both apps can sign in with a phone number and a one-time code, as well as email.
Driver review before going online
A driver submits a profile photo, license, and vehicle, then waits for approval. A rejected or suspended account is told so in the driver app.
A visible trip
Online drivers share live location. During a ride, the rider sees the driver name, vehicle, plate, and rating, and can cancel while the trip is pending, accepted, or arriving.
Payment before the trip starts
The driver app waits for the rider to confirm payment before Start trip. After the ride, the rider can leave a rating.

No. A ride is requested in Buruh Rider. This website has no booking form.
The rider sets a pickup and destination. A driver who is online reviews that request and can accept it. The rider then confirms payment. The driver starts the trip after that payment step and completes it in Buruh Driver.
In Buruh Rider, after a driver accepts: Wallet Payment, Pay with Stripe, or Cash Payment. The wallet can be topped up in the app. This website does not take payment.
